T-Mobile Makes Fun of AT&T for Updating Phones with Fake 5G logo!

If you are not aware with the shenanigans that AT&T did earlier with their users, let us just update you with it! AT&T is updating three phones (Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Active and LG’s V30 and V40) to show this pseudo-5G icon when they’re connected to LTE networks that have received some speed-boosting updates.

They already got roasted enough by Techies on the net that understand Tech enough that AT&T definitely increased the speed on their networks but it’s definitely not 5G. The worst part is that AT&T is marketing it as “5G Evolution” when in reality it’s just LTE Advanced. Verizon claimed that it had deployed the tech in 1,100 markets.

When it comes to 5G, AT&T has deployed it in just under 400 markets. It’s kinda funny that AT & T has just punched 5G sticker over top of its phones’ LTE logo. It hasn’t improved anyone’s phone; and while AT&T has slightly improved its network, it isn’t offering anything the other big carriers haven’t already done. However, when The Verge reported this and tweeted about it like every other article, T-Mobile did not wait a second to chime in the conversation with a funny rather cynical response.

T-Mobile responded with a video which had them sticking a 9G sticker on an iPhone which is strange coming from T-Mobile who falsely claimed to have “America’s largest 4G network,” back in 2010, Brands wars are fun to watch especially when both parties involved have some bad history in the same field.
