CES 2019: Lenovo Updates Designs for ThinkPad X1 Carbon & X1 Yoga!

ThinkPad’s, a long-running series of laptops and tablets designed, developed, and sold by Lenovo, and formerly IBM, the weird ones with those red cursor pointers in between of the keyboard just got a design refresh and they are identical with just bezel trimming. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga just got an overhaul for 2019 at CES.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a 14-Inch barely 2.5 pounds heavy, thin and light, 14.95mm thin to be precise. The device is also equipped with an Intel 8th Gen processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage, a new low-power 1080p display, 1080p or 4K screen, 15 Hours worth of battery life, and two USB 3.1 ports and dual USB-C Thunderbolt ports for connectivity all coming in at just $1,709.99 with aluminum build and carbon finishes in “Iron Grey”.
Moving on to the ThinkPad X1 Yoga which arguably has more design changes that the X1 Carbon with the Yoga moving to an aluminium design. You get an 8th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. Just like the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, you’ll be able to pick between a variety of displays for the X1 Yoga, including 1080p panels, a WQHD version, and a 4K HDR display all from $1,929.99.

These new versions are noticeably thinner and lighter than predecessors, the fourth generation of the convertible laptop is now 11 percent thinner than its predecessor, with thinner bezels and an overall smaller footprint. Both are shipping in June and, naturally, feature Lenovo’s familiar orange pointing stick. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
