AnTuTu Benchmarks VS GeekBench? Which is the Best? How to Choose?

AnTuTu and GeekBench- These are some of the most well-known benchmarking tests and are often seen making the headline for various reasons. As far as the utility goes these are two best apps used to know the power of your device and portray them in front of you! For OS part both of these have different charts of Android and iOS.

Antutu is a Chinese software benchmarking tool commonly used to benchmark phones and devices. The AnTuTu benchmark is so common that hardware manufacturers have taken to cheating on the benchmark which makes the benchmark unreliable. In response to this cheating AnTuTu has created a new benchmark, called AnTuTu X, which makes it more difficult for manufacturers to cheat.

Geekbench is a cross-platform processor benchmark, with a scoring system that separates single-core and multi-core performance, and workloads that simulate real-world scenarios. The software benchmark is available for MacOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS. Geekbench 4 also measures GPU performance in areas such as image processing and computer vision.
AnTuTu Benchmarks Charts
AnTuTu benchmarking is more prominent in terms of Android Phones and iPhones as they give an average score which is better for marketing and can be easily understood by non-tech savvy users but they also have Multi-core and Single-core charts. On the GeekBench side it is more widely accepted as it is also available on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

AnTuTu device charts have a RAM+ Storage, CPU, UX, and 3D score along with Total score for better understanding for other metrics. GeekBench also has an upper hand with their battery performance and has the crown for best battery to Xiaomi Mi Max 2 which has been the un-presidented rank for a while now.

As far as the question “Which is superior or which you should prefer?” it all comes down to this- AnTuTu is well-known for their Total Score representation and other metrics like 3D test. GeekBench has recently also gained a reputation for leaking data on unreleased devices and some tests for stuff like OS version. Both of them are really great options and have very less scope for cheats. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
