Helio P90 Chipset With 'Ground-Breaking' AI Teased By MediaTek!

    Realme launched the Realme U1, the first phone with MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. The MediaTek Helio P70 when compared to Qualcomm Snapdragons offerings levels up to Snapdragon 660. The Helio P90 is expected to feature "ground-breaking AI", while also being powerful and efficient.

    MediaTek, however, is already working on its next premier mid-range SoC, and this will be called Helio P90. The official MediaTek account on Twitter has started teasing the chip.

    The AI capability of the chipset is plausible as Helio P80 (Unannounced) was able to achieve in a dedicated benchmark - it was second only to Qualcomm's upcoming top of the line SoC.

    Oppo R19 might be one of the first devices to feature Helio P80, but so far we haven't heard anything similar regarding the P90. MediaTek might have felt the need to remind us that it's still developing new products, which may have something to do with Qualcomm's big announcement on December 4.
