Lenovo Z5s Hands-On Reveals Hole In Display For Camera!

After Samsung’s the announcement of the new Infinity-V and Infinity-U displays, Infinity-New and Infinity-O Displays everyone is trying to get in on the Hole-In-Display train. A certain Lenovo Z5s was detailed by TENAA and from the dark photos, it looked like it had a teardrop notch. But it’s not a notch – it’s a hole.
If these images have a tad bit of truth in them then Lenovo might have the first functioning device with Hole-In-Display leaving Samsung behind. Here are some better photos of the phone that offer a clearer picture, and it really helps that the display is on.

This is not the first phone with a pierced screen, but the location of the hole is important – it’s in the center. Huawei, as well as Samsung, have been seen fiddling around with the idea of Hole-In-Display for cameras.

If images are not good enough to prove the Lenovo device to you, then there’s a video for further proof up on video. The official teaser for the Lenovo Z5s promises a December unveiling. A quick recap of the specs shows a potentially very interesting phone. The screen seems to be 6.3” with Snapdragon 8150 or Snapdragon 675.
