Realme 2 Pro to Bring Teardrop Notch & Amazing Specs to Budget Segment!
At the launch event of Realme 2, Realme also teased the upcoming Realme 2 Pro which we already told you was the real deal. The Realme 2 was not that big of an upgrade form the Realme 1 and even downgrade in some places. Realme has now uploaded an official video for Realme 2 Pro which reveals the Glorious Teardrop or Water drop Notch.
The phone is being marketed as ‘Proud to be Young and Proud to be Realme’ Titled ‘Proud to be Young’, the minute-long video gives us a glimpse of the front and back of a new smartphone that seems to be Realme 2 Pro, although the company doesn’t explicitly mention the name anywhere. Oppo is targeting Youth just like Xiaomi did with Redmi Y2.
Specs wise the Realme 2 Pro is supposed to pack in something more powerful than Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. The 2 Pro will also have Dual-Rear cameras and supposedly better than Realme 2(Of course just for portrait effect). While Realme 2 looks a lot like the Oppo A5, we are yet to see what the Realme 2 Pro could offer. We think the company might launch the very same phone but with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage with a price tag of INR 12,990 and eventually some more fancy colors.
The Realme 2 Pro launch event is already scheduled for 28th September 2018. The Realme 2 was the first phone to bring the Notch to the Starter market and Realme 2 Pro will bring the Teardrop Notch to the same market! The Realme 2 Pro is going to be the “Real” successor of the Realme 1. FYI, The Realme 2 Pro also clearly going to have a more normal shaped Fingerprint scanner.
