Official Mi 8 Youth Edition with Gradient Colour Images Shared by Lei Jun Before launch!

    Lei Jun, the CEO and Founder of Xiaomi has shared an official still of the rear of two of the Mi 8 Youth or Mi 8 Lite device ahead of launch! The Mi 8 and Mi band 3 both of these devices are going to be launched in India soon. The Mi 8 Youth is all set to announce the new smartphone at an event in Chengdu at 12:00pm.

    Yesterday, Xiaomi teased in a new teaser that Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth is named as Mi 8 Lite. At an event today, Xiaomi will announce Mi 8 Lite, Mi 8 Fingerprint edition, Xiaomi Smart Alarm clock and limited edition NFC bracket. Xiaomi has done this colour gradient thing with previous Mi devices specifically with the Mi 6 Lite. The Mi 8 Lite or Youth here is seen in a Pink gradient and a Blue Gradient.

    The device will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, a 6.26” FHD+ IPS LCD display, 19:9 aspect ratio with the Notch, Horizontal rear camera set-up(Possibly dual 12MP), 24MP front camera, 3000 mAh battery, and multiple colour, RAM and storage options all starting at 1999 Yuan or 20,000 INR and 275 USD. And of course, all of this is according to all the reports and rumours we have been hearing.

    Xiaomi phones, especially in the mid-range segment, have not been visually enticing and that opinion stood strong with the POCO F1 and its Polycarbonate back (Fancy name for Plastic). That is not the case with the Mi 8 Youth aka Mi 8 Lite as it looks cool with its Gradient back.
