Oppo Confirmed To Launch Foldable Smartphone At MWC 2019!
Samsung, Huawei, LG are not the only ones
chasing the dream of a Foldable phone but smaller companies like Carl Pei are
looking accelerative! The Chinese
manufacturer Oppo obviously does not want to stay behind. Oppo and sister
company Vivo (both part of BBK Electronics, just like OnePlus) have shown
several firsts this year.
Chuck Wang, Product Manager of Oppo, has
headquarters in Shenzhen to a limited group of Dutch journalists indicated that
the first Oppo foldable smartphone will be presented at the MWC 2019. The
Mobile World Congress 2019 takes place from 25 to 28 February.
Wang only confirmed the arrival of the
OPPO’s foldable phone without sharing information on its specifications and
release date. There is no confirmation on whether the foldable phone from OPPO
will be equipped with fold-in design foldable phone or fold-out design.
From the look of it, The device looks identical
to Samsung’s and Huawei’s models seen earlier. It is speculated that the
upcoming Find series smartphone with flagship specs may carry support for 5G
connectivity. Europe will be the first market to receive it. To know what happens next in the
