The first time we ever heard of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro was back at IFA 2018 at a Huawei event disguised in a case with the different stacked cameras! Ever since we have seen many different renders, leaks, certifications and recently cases. Huawei announced the arrival of the Mate 20 and 20 Pro back at IFA 2018 and has been teasing it ever since. The Mate 20 Pro will be the first with Kirin 980 SoC and also expected to have triple rear cameras. Read more about it here.

Huawei Mate 20 is seems like a hell of a deal on paper with “Top-Notch Specs” and yes it will be Notch city all over again. Some of the newer leaks hint that Mate 20 Pro will not have a Micro SD card slot for memory expansion but a Nano SD Card Slot. This info originates from Germany where many other key specifications of the device were revealed and among those is a support for 256GB of Nano SD Card expansion which is supposed to be used with Huawei’s proprietary cards.

The Mate 20 Pro will like advertised feature the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC and offer a bunch of RAM and storage options ranging from 4GB, 6GB of RAM to 8GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, 256GB to 512 GB like the Note9 and iPhones. The renders suggest that the smartphone features a full 6.43-inch TFT LCD with 2244 x 1080 pixels resolution.

We have already made a detailed article on the specifications of each of the three Leica camera lenses. According to some leaks, the Mate 20 Pro will have an In-display fingerprint scanner and will need an OLED display to function. The Mate 20 will have a headphone jack just like the Mate 10 and the Mate 20 Pro won’t. Come back to RW Tech blog for more on its detailed specs and more Tech News and Info.
