ZTE Nubia X Passes Scratch, Burn & Bend Test With Slight Bend!
ZTE’s Nubia X is an attention-grabbing device with two screens and fingerprint scanners on both sides and the initiator of the Dual-Screen phones like NEX Dual Screen Edition. It’s a very unusual approach to the Bezel-less future.
JerryRigEverything’s-Zack put the Nubia X through the pace of his several hardware tests- Scratch test, Burn Test & Bend Test. Even after having two screens the device passes all the tests just like any other device would but with a slight bend in the frame. Check out the video below or on YouTube.
Zack did the scratch test using Mohs scale of hardness with minor scratches at level 6 and deeper grooves at level 7. The front LCD display when under fire goes black after 10 seconds and recover slowly but the rear AMOLED the pixels go white and never recover. Finally, the bend test.
Despite the area of the frame where the fingerprint sensors are on either side looking like it could be weakening the phone's structural integrity, the Nubia X survives being bent from both sides with flying colors. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
