Xiaomi Mi Play Launched With 19:9 Aspect Ratio, Water drop Notch & Helio P35 In China!
Xiaomi touted a fair bit about the Mi Play before launch even at the end with the Guinness World Book record pic. The handset has a teardrop notch up top with two rear cameras like any other device these days but Xiaomi has also bundled 10GB of free data per month for 12 months in China.
The Mi Play has a 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a water drop notch. The display will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10.
The phone features an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, coupled with IMG GE8320 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. On the rear, you have a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with a f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
Turning the table, sorry, turning the phone around the Mi Play sports an 8-megapixel sensor at the front for finer selfies. The rear also has a good old fingerprint scanner with all the necessary sensors and 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C.
The devices physical dimensions are 147.76×71.89×7.8mm. The Xiaomi Mi Play will be available from December 25 in China at a price of CNY 1,099, which is roughly Rs 11,000.
