Lenovo Z5s Debuts With Three Rear Cameras & Snapdragon 710!

Lenovo finally joins the Triple-Rear camera club with the Lenovo Z5s. The Lenovo Z5s is a more affordable and the camera focused alternative to the Lenovo Z5 Pro but more powerful than the six-month-old Lenovo Z5.
Interesting enough, it’s also the companies’ first phone with a water drop notch for the selfie camera. The device fits right in the Higher Mid-range segment with a 6.3 LTPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and tall 19.5:9 ratio (still smaller than the rumored Sony Xperia XZ4) which accommodates a 16 MP shooter with Face Unlock and some pixel binding technology for sharper photos.

The device is run by a Snapdragon 710 with Octa-core CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. There are three memory combinations - 4/64 GB, 6/64 GB, and 6/128 GB. Turning the table around, uhuh, turning the phone around you have a 16 MP wide-angle lens, acting as the primary snapper. The secondary is a telephoto lens with 8 MP sensor and 2x optical zoom, while the third one is a 5 MP depth-sensing shooter for background blur and portrait photos.

These cameras support features like PDAF, 4K video recording and there is a dual LED flash for good measure. The device is juiced by a 3,300 mAh battery which charges via a USB-C 3.1 which supports 15W fast charging. The device ships with Android Oreo as a base, the user interface is ZUI 10. On the connectivity front, the Z5s has Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

The phone is available in three colors- Starry Grey, Honey Love Orange colors and Titanium Crystal Blue which actually looks Purple. The first is available only with 4/64 GB storage for CNY1,398, the 6/64 GB and will be up for pre-order, actual sales are starting on December 24.
