Mi Mix3 Teased to Support 5G Connectivity, Camera-Slider & More!

    At IFA 2018 we got the first official look at the Mi Mix 3 which is supposed to come out with a Slide-out camera module which you can learn more about here. Xiaomi’s Co-Founder, Lin Bin uploaded a picture of Mi Mix 3 with the slide-out camera on Weibo. But, unlike Oppo Find X’s and Vivo NEX’s automatically functioning cameras, Xiaomi’s take-on the Camera slide-out trend seems manual. 

    Xiaomi’s global spokesperson, Donovan Sung, tweeted a still of Mi Mix 3 which clearly mentions 5G network connectivity at the top. This can also be conferred by the fact that the smartphone will come with Qualcomm's 5G-enabled chipset.

    Donovan Sung also said that the official rollout of the 5G might only take place next year though and could start with Mi Mix 3. It needs to be noted that other companies have also jumped on the 5G train indicating 5G is right around the corner.

    A recent Hands-on has appeared on YouTube which features Mi Mix 3 with Mechanical leveller at the back of the smartphone. From all the rumour roundups, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is expected to come with a Samsung QHD+ AMOLED display and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
