OnePlus 6T Retail Box Leak Reveals Water drop Notch & In-Display Fingerprint Scanner!

    Oneplus 6T is going to hit the market soon as there is a lot of chatter about it in the market. The OnePlus 6T recent appeared in ECC and is suspected to be launched in October for likely $550. You can read out the earlier article here.

    If you have been following the smartphone market in the recent years, you may notice the striking resemblance between OnePlus’s “T” line up and Oppo’s “R” line up. This makes more sense as OnePlus and Oppo have the same parent company and it was also suggested that OnePlus could release a Slide-out camera phone.     Five photos have been posted on Weibo of what seems to be the retail box of OnePlus' still unreleased 6T. On the underside of the box lid, we see the outlines of the smartphone roughly giving away the design. Unsurprisingly, it resembles the recently announced Oppo R17 Pro with the water drop-styled notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

    If you notice, OnePlus is also rushing the ‘T’ of the year. In the past, OnePlus used to release the T variant at the end of the year. And the Fingerprint sensor is also new to this time around previously seen in Vivo phones. Again keep in mind, Vivo, Oppo, and OnePlus have the same parent company- BBK Electronics.
