Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Will Be Launched At “Reasonable Price”, States Samsung!

     Samsung just claimed that the Galaxy Note 9 will be launched at a reasonable price. It also means that the phone will be launched lower than its predecessor the Note 8. Galaxy Note 9 is going to be launched on 9 August at their event. Galaxy Note 9 is supposed to push the bars for a Note as the Note 8 seems the best Note with what it offers.

     The company did not have its best time in terms of sales number in Q2 as their phones were priced a little more than needed. Maybe they had some influence by Apple and learned pricing phones at 1000$. Anyway, somehow it still seemed logical as Samsung does provide the best hardware with their displays being the best in any phones and pow2erful Exynos as well as Snapdragons and fat batteries.

     While announcing companies earnings of Q2 they said "Demand for smartphones and tablets is forecast to increase in the second half as the market enters a period of strong seasonality, but competition is seen intensifying as new smartphone models are released. In response, Samsung will seek to expand sales by introducing a new Galaxy Note earlier than usual, which offers exceptional performance for a reasonable price". Samsung reported that their net income for April-June reached 10.98 trillion KRW, (Around 61,753 Crores INR or 9,838 Million USD) while its overall sales fell by 4% to 58.48 trillion KRW. Samsung’s phone business suffered a decline of 1.39 trillion KRW.

     Not to get into numbers but that is a pretty big decline for a company that big. Samsung is trying to get its sales up and the only way to do that is by cutting the price of their devices as people don’t think it’s important to “Upgrade to Galaxy” every time a new one comes out. Either way this decision of there is only going to benefit the consumers at this moment. The Note is supposed to be launched lower than the Note 8 according the Samsung’s statement. Of course, it is still not going to be as well-priced as OnePlus 6. A recent report claimed that the Note 9 will be priced at 64,400 INR or 930 USD which is still costly but for the 128GB higher end model.
