Microsoft Tests Your Phone App Which Lets You View Your Photos On Android Phone

Today Microsoft released the 17728 Windows 10 preview for the Insider Program Users and one of its highly-anticipated features is the Your Phone App which lets you sync your Android phone with your Windows device. The App was announced earlier this year which basically ties to tie up your Android 7.0 or above device to your Windows device.

The feature is now available for the Windows insider program and it works with Android for now but support for iOS is expected later as windows does not play in the mobile section anymore with windows mobile being a big failure. Microsoft has begun testing the new application, which gives you easy access to the files on your phone from a Windows 10 PC. Sure, you can use third-party and cloud services (or you can email yourself), but the feature promises a more seamless way to access files across devices. When you access Your Phone on a computer, you'll see the most recent snapshots on your Android device. You'll then be able to drag and drop them straight into another app, like PowerPoint if you're doing a presentation. One of the more popular third-party app which lets you do it is team viewer and other cloud services.

There is not much to it than this as it is just an app which lets you remotely access your devices which is not at all new as applications like team viewer have been existing for a long time. But it’s always better to have first party apps as it decreased the level of thereat of any kind. The only condition is that you must be a part of the Insider program and Android 7.0 or above.
