What Are Andriod One Phones?

Android is a famous operating system in the world. A person who knows what a smartphone is probably also knows what Android is and what it's versions are. For the ones who don't know what their versions are let's take a look. All of this sorcery started with No codename in 2008 as Android 1.0, Cupcake 1.5, Donut 1.6, Eclair 2.0-2.1, Froyo 2.2-2.2.3, Gingerbread 2.3-2.3.7, Honeycomb 3.0-3.2.6, Ice cream Sandwich  4.0-4.0.4, Jelly Bean 4.1-4.3.1, KitKat 4.4- 4.4.4, Lollipop 5.0- 5.1.1, Marshmallow 6.0-6.0.1, Nougat 7.0- 7.1.2, Oreo 8.0-8.1. And rumors have been that Google is soon going to release Android P that is 9. Users only get these updates as the phones companies send it to your phone via OTA update. This in most cases takes an eternity and there is no assurance that you might get the next major Android update.
So, does Google not send these updates your manufacturers. Most of the time that is not the case, Google passes Android updates to companies as soon as they are in stable form. The reason you don't get these updates is your smartphone manufacturer feels reluctant to do so or it takes them a lot of time to hide the update under their own skin. That is their own UI (User Interface), Many companies have their own UI, For example, Xiaomi has their UI named MIUI which is currently running on Android 7.1.2 and MIUI9.5. Likely all famous brand have their own UI which takes a lot of time to configure with the next Android version. But, some famous brands push Android updates as soon as they receive them. The place where you are assured for a lifetime of Android updates, as well as security patches, is Google Pixel and Nexus phones which run on pure Android and have no UI and use fresh Interface on Android. But, that is not the only place where you can get quicker Android updates. This is where Android One Program comes in the picture.
