Xiaomi’s 48-MegaPixel Redmi Phone May Devour An In-Screen Camera!

Xiaomi’s Redmi series is well-known for its amazing budget offerings such as Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Y2, Redmi Note 4 and others. The Redmi series phones of Xiaomi offer great value for money.
Although, they are generally not so good when it comes to cameras and other innovative stuff. That might just change as a research by My Drivers has learnt through industry sources that Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi phone with 48-megapixel camera will be equipped with an LCD panel supplied by China’s BOE display maker.

This particular Redmi handset is believed to have a thick chin unlike the NEX and Mix series phones but is supposed to deliver an immersive bezel-less experience. The device is said to offer a rivalry to Samsung’s Galaxy A8 and Huawei’s Nova 4 which are also rumoured to have an in-display camera but also have slicker chin which essentially gives these devices a better look.

There is no other piece of information on other specifications of the device but it seems like the device might feature a Samsung ISOCELL Bright CM1 48-megapixel sensor. The phone may bring in a Snapdragon 675 at 2,000 Yuan in China. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
