Samsung To Have In-Display Fingerprint Scanner In A-Series!
Samsung has been very ambitious with its A-Series Mid-Range Smartphones lately and that is very much evident with the Galaxy A7 and A9. Samsung has gone out of its way to acquiring back its lost Mid-Range smartphone market with stuff like three/ four cameras or Side-Mounted Fingerprint scanner.
The latest report going around is that Samsung is looking to equip its future A-series smartphones in 2019 with in-display fingerprint readers. As per the inside source, the A-series phone won’t have the same Ultra-Sonic sensor as the S10 might.
But, will instead incorporate optical sensors that tend to be less accurate and consistent compared to the ultrasonic ones. It's another way for the company to compete with the Chinese affordable handsets. Reportedly, China's Aegis Technology will take care of Samsung's order.
It's understandable given the price point, of course. Reportedly, China's Aegis Technology will take care of Samsung's order. The name or even code for the A-series device is not known, Samsung usually launches the A line-up before the S family. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
