Samsung Galaxy A8s Front Panel Leak Reveals a Notch!

The only way you wouldn’t know that Samsung hates notches and companies with ‘notched out’ phones is if you live under a rock with no internet access! The latest evidence to this is Samsung tolling Google live Q and A for Pixel 3XL for the horrendous notch.

Samsung has been avoiding the notch for far too long, but with the announcement of the new Infinity-V and Infinity-U displays, Infinity-New and Infinity-O Displays. The latest leak suggests that the recently teased Samsung Galaxy A8s will be the company's first notched smartphone featuring a U-shaped cut-out.

The source also claims that these panels are designated for the Galaxy A8s and by the looks of it, the notch is quite minimalist. In fact, it appears to be even smaller than the water drop notch in today's Oppo and Vivo smartphones. For now rumours suggest that the A8s will be powered by Snapdragon 660, 670 or 675!
If this is the implementation of Samsung’s Infinity-U we wonder what the use of other notched out infinity displays. At first, the phone will most likely be exclusive to the Chinese market. However, nothing is confirmed so we suggest you remain skeptical with early leaks like this one. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
