Razer Phone 2 Seen On Amazon with Wireless Charging, RGB Lighting & IP 67 Rating!
Razer is going to launch the sequel to its gaming
phone series- The Razer Phone 2, later today at their event! The Razer Phone 2 launch
event media invite gave us a closer look at the design of Razer Phone 2 and
some of its features and other details through leaks. The Razer Phone 2 was
seen on Amazon Italy and is still available for purchase! The design of Razer
Phone 2 hasn’t changed much but has gotten glossier and the camera placement
has changed!
The highlighted feature of the handset is
the “Razer Chroma RGB Lighting” on the logo, this was the feature everyone
wanted as Razer is good with RGB in their laptops and other peripherals. And
inclusion of Chroma lighting means it can sync the colors of all LEDs.
The Razer phone 2 is supposed to be an
overall upgrade with Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB or 8GB or LPDDR4X RAM and
same or even better cooling to smash trough triple-AAA smartphone gaming
titles. The Razer Phone 2 is also supposed to keep the Front-Facing Speakers
and reduce the amount of bezel and not have a notch! The Razer Phone 2 will
shamelessly keep the bezels and house front-facing speakers in them!
The storage does not seem like a selling
point of the Razer Phone 2 as the listing mentions 64GB of storage. The Razer
Phone 2 is going to have a 120Hz display again which is exclusive to Razer for
now as the Asus ROG phone also has 90Hz display.
Also new to the Razer Phone 2
will be an IP67 rating which seems like a step below your Apples, Googles, and Samsung’s
but is practically same. The Amazon listing has a price tag of €870, but don’t
put too much stock in that – wait for Razer’s event later today. The first
phone launched at €750. As soon as the Razer Phone 2 is official we will have
its detailed specs, features, and availability along with its price so stay
tuned with RW Tech Blog.
