LG Patents New Phone Design With Three or Four Cameras, Bezel-less Design, & No Notch!

LG- The South Korean Electronic giant, better known in the states for their mobile division published three design patents of LG Electronics on October 23, 2018. All three show a smartphone design with a triple camera on the back from USPTO (the United States Patent and Trademark Office). We put the different designs side by side.

The Company just unveiled its LG V40 ThinQ however, significantly different from that of the V40 ThinQ. They are arranged in a square a la Huawei. No flash is indicated in the drawings, so it is possible that just like the Mate 20 phones one of the circles is actually the flash and not a camera.

The device in any three of the models do not have any notches, sliders, pop-ups or anything crazy and is keeping things Old-school with a fingerprint scanner on the back and a fair amount of bezels to house  the camera, earpiece, Proximity Sensor, and other arrays of sensors! This design is so old-school, it even has a 3.5mm headphone jack!

Model C seems a lot more rounded not only for the screen but also for the body! Both of LG’s flagship series – G and V – now have notches, so this represents a step back towards older designs. And we really don’t mind. The bezels on these devices seem similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note9.  To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
