Huawei: Didn't Share DxOMark Score Of Mate 20 Pro Because It Was Too High!

The Huawei P 20Pro takes the cake for the best smartphone camera at DxOMark rating of 109 almost a year ago and then Huawei releases the Mate 20 Pro recently which has the same camera set-up but has improved on somethings. The phone was unveiled for the global audiences on 17 October and today it was announced for the Chinese markets.

One thing that was surprisingly missing from Huawei's earlier presentation at London was the Mate 20 Pro's DxOMark score. Now we know the reason. It appears that the DxOMark scores for the Mate 20 Pro are so high that the company has not disclosed the number to the public. How's that for marketing?

The Mate 20 Pro has a 40 MP + 20 MP + 8 MP triple camera setup making it quite a worthy opponent to the Pixel 3 at least in terms of sheer Pixel count. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro, if it was reviewed by DxOMark, should score somewhere around 115.

The second runner currently is the iPhone XS, third place is a tie between Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and Samsung Galaxy Note9 at 105 and 103 respectively! But, we have said this earlier that DxOMark score is not everything you should care about but is a base differentiator. To know what happens next in the Tech World, Visit RW Tech Blog.
