Nokia 7.1 Plus gets TENAA Certification! Specifications, Renders, & Launch date!

Nokia 7.1 Plus recently visited TENAA to get certification and now the leaks of the design have been confirmed. The Nokia 7.1 Plus is not the most famous device right now at least from Nokia after live images of the Nokia 9 hitting the market! The Nokia 7.1 Plus it's rumored that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will feature Android One. The image below does not confirm the presence or absence of a Notch.

According to the spec sheet, Nokia 7X or Nokia 7.1 Plus will have a 6.1” IPS LCD display with the 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution hinting at a wide notch on the top of the display. The sheet also shows the Octa-Core chipset with 2.2GHz clock speed which should be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. The 710 seems to be coupled with 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB of RAM and storage, but there could be several variations. The device may have a hybrid sim slot providing two sim-cards or a Micro-SD card for extra storage.

The phone will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box but you can expect Android 9.0 Pie to arrive soon. The device will consist of a 12MP sensor coupled with a 13MP one that appears to be identical to the Nokia 7 Plus' setup. As for the selfie cam, the front notch houses a 20MP unit. All of this goodness is supposed to be powered by 3,400mAh battery. Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to be launched on October 4.

A TENAA certification is an indication of the device being launched soon but there are many exceptions like the Google Pixel 3 and 3XL which leaked about a month ago from the launch. It is a little disappointing to see that the Nokia 7.1 Plus (7X) is rumored to have the same camera set-up as the Nokia 7 Plus.
