Once the phone gets charged up to 100% the battery does not accept any charge further.

2 Wi-Fi And Bluetooth Drain Battery

Yet another popular Myth related to battery which is a complete hoax. The radio frequencies these days are so smart and efficient that if left on even when on idle it does not consume your power. So, if you leave your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on all the time don’t worry about the battery on your “Smartphone”. There is nothing to worry about, when left on, there is minute use of battery like in point and decimals. You sure won’t notice it during your usage.

3 You Can’t Be Tracked If You Turn on             Airplane Mode

Now, we are not sure where this Myth originated, or which smarty-pants thought of it, But, it is commonly understood that you can’t be tracked if you turn on Airplane mode. This is false you can easily be tracked even if you turn on airplane mode. It an interesting fact that you can be tracked even if you remove the SIM card of your phone. The only way you can not be tracked id if you remove the battery or use a Radio wave interrupting pouch.

4 To Charge Phone Quickly Turn on Airplane Mode

This is another battery and charging related Myth commonly followed by many. We don’t know why there are these many batteries and charging related myths but clearing them is sure our job. Turning on Airplane Mode does not charge your phone quickly but just cuts off its access to network and some other stuff. The difference here is of minutes and sometimes even seconds. Let’s say your phone charges in 2 Hours normally with Airplane Mode it will charge on 1 Hour and 55 Minutes plus you give up on the basics of why phones were invented. The best way to quickly charge your phone is to turn it off.

5 More Bars in Network Means Better Call Quality

Many people think if they have more Bars in their network section it means they will be bestowed with better call quality. This is not true in most of the cases as if you are standing even in front of the tower you may not be able to make clear calls as the network might be congested. The Bars are just signal strength representation and not call quality representation as there are many other factors to be considered.

6 3rd Party Chargers Harm Your Phone’s Battery

This is a common myth again related to battery as battery supplies juice to your phone and is crucially important.  Now, this is much more serious than the previous ones. There is no official study or experiment that concludes that usage of Smartphones causes Cancer. It is possible that viewing a poor-quality screen or a screen in unsuitable conditions can harm your body, But nothing more complicated like Cancers.

  8 More Is Better

This is a complicated one right here with us. Firstly, you hear more RAM is better sure, but more doesn’t mean 8GB RAM or 10GB RAM anything more than 4GB is superfluous, however if you want multi-tasking 6GB can be suggested. It is hard for a average consumer to choose between an Dual-Core processor at a frequency of 2.2 Ghz and a Octa-Core 1.8 Ghz processor. You should know everything before judging it completely.

  9 Gorilla Glass= Best Screen

When you hear that a phone has gorilla glass 5 installed, all you can think is that thing is the best no matter what you do with it and how you treat it. Well this is not true, as gorilla glass is good to have to protect your screen from accidental scratches or even a few drops, But nothing more than that.

10 More mAh= More Battery Backup

Before you curse us, Let us say that, Yes, More mAh means more power but doesn’t mean more battery backup. Battery backup is also dependent on Software Optimizations and tweaks along with the need of hardware.
