Apple Says, Out-Of-Box iPads With Bent Frames Are Normal!
Did you watch the iPad physical endurance test by the great Zack from JerryRigEverything on YouTube? If you didn’t you should watch it right now as in the bend test the tab broke into two pieces from the middle. Lately, some complaints of the iPad pro being shipped bent are popping up online.
Weird flex but Ok? |
Apple said this is happening due to manufacturing process but calmed down people, saying it should not worsen over time and will not affect performance and usability over time.
This effectively means that if you received a bent iPad Pro, you’re not getting it replaced. It is also insinuated that the weird issue is a result of a cooling process, involving metal and plastic components during manufacturing.
So now you know that your iPad is okay if it shipped bent out-of-the-box and will not hinder its performance. Even if it breaks later at some time don’t worry, its okay! Seriously though, there hasn’t been a report that any of the flexed iPad Pros has stopped working or failed in another way due to this issue.
