Samsung Galaxy S10 Confirmed to Have Flat Display Version!
Samsung introduced the Curved Infinity Display with Samsung Galaxy Note Edge! The Infinity Display is the signature, virtually bezel-less screen that was first introduced on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Its large screen and curved sides create an incredibly immersive viewing experience because it covers nearly the entire front of the phone as it stretches from one edge to the other.
But, Samsung is reportedly going to manufacture a version of Galaxy S10 that will have a flat display instead of a curved one! Samsung is preparing the next generation of OLED displays dubbed M9, which will be used in the Galaxy S10. The flat display version of S10 will be the base 5.8” model.
Samsung is working with other companies to generate organic chemicals for the Red, Green and Blue subpixels and will be used for the M9 generation and replace the M8 chemicals used in the Galaxy S9 and Note9.
Companies and devices like Pixels, iPhones, and Galaxies have excelled on various display rating tests like Display Mate with the great AMOLED displays that Samsung has made over the years! We are pretty stoked about the possibility of a basic S10 model with a flat display that will presumably come at a lower price than its body-positive siblings as Infinity is not everyone’s choice.
