Nokia Rumoured To Launch Nokia 9, Nokia 8.1, & Nokia 2.1 Plus In Dubai On December 5!

HMD Global, the head of Nokia has decided to host a launch event in Dubai on December 5, 2018. The announcement was made by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global on Twitter. The invitations have figures of three smartphones with the launch location and date. Not much can be discerned from the invite, but the smartphone in the middle and left appear to have display notches.
It is very much expected or absolute that HMD Global will launch Nokia 9 or the successor to the Nokia 8 Sirocco has appeared online in the form of leaks featuring a Penta lens camera system in a unique layout. Nokia 9 is rumored to have 5.9” QHD AMOLED screen with Under-Display Fingerprint Scanner. As the law for Flagships goes, It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. And a phone with 4150mAh battery and run on Android Pie OS with an IP68 rating.

Nokia 8.1 features 6.18” FHD+ IPS LCD display with a rather weird 18.7:9 aspect ratio powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and come with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/12GB of internal storage. For the cameras, there is a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel primary lens + 13-megapixel secondary lens. The front-facing camera is a 20-megapixel shooter. Third and the most low-key device is Nokia 2.1 Plus with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

It seems like the Nokia 2.1 Plus is really a niche product and a total shame to be launched in 2018! The Nokia 9 will be the talk of the town if the leaks we saw earlier are true. Nokia 9 or the successor to the Nokia 8 Sirocco has appeared online in the form of leaks featuring a Penta lens camera system in a unique layout.
