OnePlus 6T Spotted On GeekBench With Android 9 Pie, Snapdragon 845, & 8GB RAM!
OnePlus 6T is all set to be launched possibly
on October 17th. OnePlus for some reason is going to be launching the T
line-up smartphone, specifically the OnePlus 6T earlier than usual! The OnePlus
6T has now gained a bit of a hype, a little bit of a leak over here and a
little bit of a teaser over there is what they have received yet! The
OnePlus 6T is now hopping on the GeekBench train to get tested!
The device is named as ‘FS FS P8801’ which
could only mean the OnePlus 6T as OnePlus used ‘NS NS P7819’ for the OnePlus 6
so this leak could have been easily avoided. The OnePlus 6T seems to be running
on Android 9 Pie which is not at all surprising as the OnePlus 6 is already
running Android Pie and was one of the first ones to receive the beta update. Disappointingly,
it does not feature a Snapdragon 8150, which would be Qualcomm’s first 7nm
FinFET chipset, but retains a Snapdragon 845 instead.
The device is also running 8GB of RAM which
is common for OnePlus devices but if this is the base model as companies always
get scores for base models then this is big as the upper end model might run
10GB of RAM? In fact, the OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a new gesture-based
navigation system with Android 9 Pie featured in it right off the bat! OnePlus
has officially revealed the release date for OnePlus 6T which is October 30th
in New York.
The OnePlus 6T has been thoroughly covered on our blog, may
it be regarding In-display fingerprint scanner or the teardrop notch! The 6T is
slightly thicker by 0.45mm, the internal hardware had to be rearranged, and now
that the back of the phone doesn't have a sensor, it has a more unibody look,
according to OnePlus. For more on devices like OnePlus 6T, Nokia 9, and Mi
