How To Completely Go Incognito! Is Privately Browsing Enough?

When we wish to go Incognito from the eyes of our ISP, Government, Websites and hackers, we turn on the Incognito or Private browsing window, but is that good enough to hide form the world or do you need to up your game? Well, firstly to answer that question, you can check our article on Tech myths. So, obviously this is not good enough and most browsers these days inform user that all incognito mode does is automatically delete browsing history, disable sites from saving or redeeming cookies and not use your already signed in accounts.

There is a good chance that most of us know that already, so what’s the next step. Well, the perfect combination for going incognito is using a VPN and browsing privately as it creates layers of protection. A VPN is a loophole between you and the server. The definition of a VPN that is Virtual Private Networking is connecting a private network to a public network to enable users on the private network to send to and receive data from a shared or public network as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network. More on VPN’s here. But, some VPN’s log their users data allegedly and there is no way around if you subscribe to such a VPN provider.

The other route you can take is of course, is using TOW browser. TOR is a browser aimed at concealing one’s identity on the internet in a pioneering way. Tor is free software for enabling anonymous communication. The name is derived from an acronym for the original software project name "The Onion Router". TOR is correctly named the Onion browser as it creates a shell of users, meaning when you search something on TOR, it goes through several other users’ browsers in encrypted form and returns to you again in encryption. Yet there are some loophole in TOR just like VPN. It stands between Incognito mode and VPN.

But, for a normal user TOR should be good enough as it combines the features on Incognito mode and VPN in one place and makes it easier for the end-user or you average Joe. One plus point about TOR is that it is a free browser unlike VPN’s where a subscription is needed to take complete use. According to us, if you use a combination of VPN and Incognito mode or just TOR browser, you are good to go. One more good option is using Opera Browser for Windows as it also provides a free VPN service but in our use we noticed that it only turn you browsing to Ukraine no matter what place you select.

All the things we talked above are obviously for good reason and need to be used by good hands. For example, A VPN is handy when buying plane tickets as it overcomes the Geographic borders and can help you save money. Similarly, Incognito mode is also helpful when searching for hotels or transport as you can score some good deals. We hope you don’t make wrong use of tfhis information and stay safe on the internet and if you want to use TOR browser you can securely download it form here(Official TOR Page).
