Android Pie Is Now Available For More 20 Phones Because Of Project Treble!

Today Google released the official build for Android 9.0 Pie and was available officially for Pixel devices and Essential phone. The final build of Android P has all the originally announced features in all of its glory. But, it is missing out on some of the features such as Digital Wellbeing and slices and still offers some features such as Adaptive Brightness, Adaptive Battery and AI features such as less consumption of RAM.

Google has picked a sweet and crisp name for the 9th version and you can get the same version on your device, thanks to project treble introduced with Android Oreo to overcome the old problem of slow Android updates. Project Treble is a major re-architecture introduced by Google with Android Oreo to speed up Android updates. If your device supports project treble then you can easily update your device to Android P. These are some of the devices which support project treble:-
  • ·        Oneplus 5
  • ·        Oneplus 5t
  • ·        Redmi Note 5 Pro
  • ·        Zenfone 4
  • ·        Razer phone
  • ·        Essential Phone
  • ·        Pixel devices
  • ·        Huawei 9, 9 Pro, Mate 10 Lite/ Nova 2
  • ·        Honor 9/ 8 Pro/ 8/ 8 Lite

If you have one of these devices, you can download an image or zip file and flash a ROM on your phone and expect it to run fine. Treble separates low-level device drivers from the rest of Android. It becomes significantly easy for developers to create custom ROMs. There are already build for your supported device and you can flash it to get Android P and put an end to your wait for android updates by your vendor.

We will soon make an article on the features and advantages of Android P and will actually find out if Android P uses sources an better than Android Oreo. If you are running an older device or a non-supported device, you can still run a custom Android P ROM on your device. And for more of such Tech news and Tech information, visit RW Tech Blog.
