Cores Of Your Phone's Processor

You often hear your friend bragging he has an Octa-core, Deca-core, Quad-core phone. But, what does this core even mean and is it even important? We'll see right here. A multi-core processor is a single computing component with two or more independent processing units called cores, which read and execute program instructions. Okay, so now we know cores are an important part of a phone or processor.

But, is the number of cores the only factor that increases your phone's performance. The simple answer is no. Just having more cores does not make a processor or phone better. There are other factors such as Architecture, Process, and Clock Speed etc.

So, now you know just adding the number of cores does not make a processor or phone better. The Architecture, Process and clock speed is also just as important. And if all of these are balanced then the phone will be good with a better processor. And having more cores can slow down the phone in some cases. So to make a processor's performance better everything needs to be balanced.
