OnePlus 6T Will Not Have the Headphone Jack!

    OnePlus is known as the brand that focuses on the feedback provided by the fans but that is not shaping up to be the case with the next OnePlus device that is the OnePlus 6T. The OnePlus 6T has gained some popularity in the recent past and has been leaked and “Concept-ed” all around.

    In a recent interview with TechRadar, Carl Pei, The co-founder of OnePlus officially confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will not have a headphone jack! OnePlus was one of the major companies in the market that kept the 3.5mm headphone jack because the fans like it! Carl said, “It [removing the headphone jack] was a very controversial decision. We’re not doing it for the sake of doing it and because everyone else is. We believe now is the right time, as it’ll benefit the majority of our users while keeping the downside low. We knew this was an option for a very long time, we were just waiting for the right time”

    Carl also said that removing the 3.5mm headphone jack has enabled them to add more stuff like the in-display fingerprint scanner. The company also announced the new Type-C Bullets earphones, which will be launched alongside the OnePlus 6T to come around the loss of Headphone jack.
