POCOPHONE F1 Launch Event Scheduled After Whole Unboxing Video Being Published!
Xiaomi recently announced its new brand POCO and it is aimed
at the premium smartphone market. After an unboxing video already published on YouTube
by Romanian YouTuber GSMDome .com
as in the video below. The whole handset was shown-off in all of its glory
along with the Black and Yellow box, as it is the theme of POCO. From this
unboxing video the phone does not seem like a flagship and we will talk about what
the means after you watch this video!
We think you
now know what we meant before. The Pocophone F1 does not look like a flagship
device or even mid-range device by any means. The body is plastic polycarbonate
which seems cheap and inexpensive. But, In all fairness, POCO never said that
the phone was going to be as good-looking as Galaxy Note 9 or iPhone X. The
phone is primarily aimed at performance and not looks or even camera, as the
phone is only supposed to have a 12MP+5MP dual-rear camera setup (Same as Redmi
Note 5 Pro or Redmi Y2).
The phone had
significantly high Antutu Benchmark score, even higher than the “New Super Powerful
Note”. The phone scored a whopping score of 285302, which is the highest for any
smartphone and form a low priced phone. The phone stands between Xiaomi Black Shark
and OnePlus 6 in Antutu Benchmark score with the glory of 2nd rank.
After everything about the phone being leaked, the phone is going to be launched
at an event on August 22, at New Delhi. Check out POCO INDIA’s tweet below!
More than peak performance, more than speed - the best of smartphone innovation is almost here. Brace yourself for the #MasterOfSpeed. See you on August 22, 2018. #POCOF1 pic.twitter.com/Uwt0ZcB26N— POCO India (@IndiaPOCO) August 13, 2018
Anyway, when
the phone finally gets launched, there will be a post on its specifications and
features. The phone is not aimed at gaming in particular like Xiaomi’s own
Black Shark gaming smartphone with goodies like Water cooling. The POCOPHONE F1
is aimed only at speed and is allegedly going to come is 6GB+64GB/128GB storage
or 8GB+256GB storage with a 5.99” display being juiced by a 4000 mAh battery. To
